I kind of thought so. that would have been quite an ordeal to move.
we did not get all of the squirrels, yet. Annie spotted one
running through the pines along the driveway wind break.
if he stays in there he is safe.
I kicked up two rabbits behind the garage yesterday.
come on kitty, do your job ..
so many things to do , I don't know what to do first ..

Yesterday I redid the metal protective shield
behind the stove in the shop. I didn't like how
it looked. Now I am satisfied. I lit a fire to test
it. It works fine.
the shop really is a mess. but cleaning it up will
have to wait. have to take advantage of this warm
weather to winterize the yard.

Yesterday we helped a fellow BYC’er send 40 plus chickens to freezer camp…. Always nice to visit with friends, we had a great time catching up.

Today is winterize the hives day…. Need to take advantage of this nice weather while I can.

Sure is nice weather, last couple nights like summer almost. Sit out in a tshirt. Lots of fall colors.
Everyone bz with getting ready for winter.
La Nina year so forecast colder and maybe more snow, will see though. Sure getting dry suppose to rain, hope so.

nice going out at night, now. No mosquitoes.
but this year the skeeters weren't as bad as they
were last year.
BL4, do I know the byc'ers that you helped with
their butchering?
Our group sure has dwindled from what it used
to be.

You sure do Jim: the good lady Amyable. She says hello to all. Since our last official bash that she attended, her brood has expanded to 7, so those birds will be useful.

I enjoyed yesterday and today cleaned out the shed so we could store stuff in there for winter. Started getting the coop ready for winter. And went out early to set our blind up for hunting. We are leaving Wednesday for a camping trip,(hope its not to cold, wet or windy)

Built a cattle corral. Could be better , but money running low for lumber. Little more work on corral be finished for year, Wife and I cleaned in the barn, took the fence down around her garden took the barn cleanings spread around. More cleaning in the barn yet. Bought some used fence post have some extras now. Planted 5 trees, put guards on them today.
Putting stuff away for winter, been a bz last week.
Cows leaving I think this coming weekend.

teenagers by now. Did she ever have a daughter ?
raining here today. I am not motivated to do anything.

Just caught up on a lot of pages. Good to hear all is well with everyone.
Busy here like everyone else. I have enough for two lifetimes to do around here.
Haven't been out hunting yet, but it's moved to the priority list.
Gardens here were plentiful and the canning and freezing was a busy time. Plenty of larder for another year. Need to do the fall tilling yet and make kraut.
