we haven't noticed any mice yet this fall.
we don't have any pets, so there is no food
laying around to draw them in. we also keep
the grass cut short all around the house.
Eventually one or two will find their way in anyhow.
today I am thinking of taking Ollie and pushing
a brush pile into an opening. I will burn it when
the ground gets covered with snow.
I am going to make an effort to get the
transmission out of low range and into high range.
it is quite tricky on the Oliver 55.
ETA"
I got Ollie onto the driveway and began
shifting and searching for high range.
just when it felt like it went in, Ollie ran out of gas.
I drained both gas cans and got enough to
get Ollie started again. and ta daaa,, it was
in high range.. I am glad that is over.. It was
so cold and windy that my eyes kept watering . so
I put Ollie back to bed. Tomorrow is another day.
have to get some gas, too.
