Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Good luck babylady4! I understand completely. But I did Thanksgiving this year so I don't have to do Christmas.

I suggest getting the broom and drill voice out and giving orders. It seems right at the holiday season. At least thats what my mom always did. Ahh the holidays.
Going to try my hand at making stollen today.

Keep them crossed for me. Got a great recipe and my hubby's grandpa turning 95 last week and asked for one, sooo as the baker in the family I got nominated. Thats the only thing I have to do. And worse case I'll go buy one.

Hopefully the weather will be on our side as we have to drive to Elkhart Lake on Friday and then down to Merton and then back home. Again AAHHH the holidays. I love this time of year. Take care everyone and GOOD LUCK!

babylady4- just wondering if you knew that Amanda's brother and family live in Minneapolis too. I don't know if you even knew him or not. Just thought I'd share.

Relax. Count to 10......or 100....whatever.

The others are right. Your family is coming to see you. Don't worry about making it spotless. There will be plenty of time to do that when they leave. And with that many people coming, I'm sure it will need it when they're gone. Put those boxes in the garage or basement. Plus....your family will understand.

I'll try to do my snow dance again. Just to keep the rain at bay.

I am worried about the rain though. I do hope it stays away. We go to church and then to my parents' house Christmas Eve. Christmas day I could care less because that day we stay home.

Good Evening to all!
I think the shopping is completed. The gift list has all been crossed off, and the food list is ready to go into the chef mode....

The big day is closing in quite quickly now. I hope I didn't forget anything real important?

The gas can is full in anticipation of the needed snow blower...

I hope all the bases are covered.

If I missed anything during the busy time....I'll just wing-it , like I usually need to do.

Good Morning to everyone! Heading out to get some things done shortly. We're having a quiet xmas this year. Laura is heading down to near the IL. line to see her fam but I'm staying home. My youngest will come xmas eve. Other than that just us and the chickens. I got my shopping done yesterday as well. It was just for the chickens they got bedding and food, not going to wrap it. I think they'd just eat the wrapping. Or make silly hats. They gave us our present early, 11 eggs yesterday. Have 6 days off to get caught up Ha Ha Ha! We hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas!

BCC I got on this thread just after the insident happened. Sounded pretty serious from all the convo's but I don't know what he did. A short summary would fill in the gap if you would please. Got the coop all straightened up with cleaning and some minor elec rerouting. The girls are out even in this wind, we shared some special moments. Got the manure spread out on the gardens for next years crop too. Finally got the mower put away and am charging the battery for storage. The snow blower will now take it's place in the garage. Replentished the wood supply on the back porch before the ice hits. That's about it for the morning deeds now on to what's for supper, put away dishes, bills, clean house,[L got called into work xtra hours], filing, new bedding in the coop after it drys, and so much more. But I think a short nap might be in the cards too. I don't like to be laying around too much except when I'm asleep.

Dr HaHa, to make it short, he turned off his lights while my DD was still in the road and left, Not just once I've got 2 video's of it, called the bus company, the school and district office and even the school board pres. finally had to call the cops, he got a ticket, fought it and lost yesterday, this has been going on since the middle end of sept. but he's still driving the bus

WOW! Sounds like a really caring and responsible individual. Good thing you had the presense of mind to get it on video. Maybe he'll rethink his ways. But think he's one of those people that belong on the bad list.

don't think he will, he told the judge that it up to the driver when the lights go off, 'all the car's where stopped when I did it, so what's the problem' that's what he told the judge. and called me a vigilante. I think he was ticked he finally got caught
