My flock has grit, I just got more from the Farm co-op in Oregon, plus black sunflower seeds, and the eggs I hard boiled today and some over ripe tomatoes...

Well I am off to bed, lets hope this is a good night for sleep, my stomach has been doing handstands off and on since before 11 this morning...

Thanks for the words o wisdom.

I hope that BL4's niece is doing better, poor kid. I have had surgery.. not fun, and a long recovery if they put in plates and screws and stuff.

WcC, I had your sleep issues last night. Chalk it up to all the stress I suppose.....

Off to the Hospital this AM. Niece came thought surgery just fine. I will try to give an update sometime today with what they ended up doing. She was a very brave little girl! I don't know too many 7 yr olds who will just sit with a broken anything and NOT cry!

I need an I.V. of coffee today.......

Well I mostly slept through the night.. went to bed by 10:15- asleep by 11 reading a horse mag.
Woke up once to restroom, and then, awake.. 5:50 am. And hungry so hoping the food poisoning has gotten out of my system.
I took something to help me go back to sleep, so I hope to wander off here in another half an hour to snooze...


Does any one vaguely near Madison need some Calf manna? You can feed it to goats, sheep, horses, cows (of course) I was driving near my
storage unit and ran into another horse person who had horse buggies in his unit. I helped him out to re-arrange and he found this can with
calf manna in it, and asked me to find it a home...its nearly a full bag, you can have the 30 gallon rubbermaid trash can too!!

Good Rainy mornin, Well I think it rained here bout all night! No haulin taters today

If anyone is going to portage this weekend from the central to northeast WI, I would love to find 2 Black copper marans!! I would give ya a lil extra for your troubles.. I'm not gonna make it

Keep in mind can only have hens or older pullets..
The women has talked me into going to the Warrens cranberry fest, guess it's a pretty big ta do! Shouild be a good time.

Good Morning Everyone! WOW what a night thunder and hard rain, looked and there's nearly 4" in the gauge. Glad I got the rain cap done for the house chimney. Everytime we get a heavy rain it ends up dripping through the bathroom ceiling. But not today Ray! BL4 owie for your niece. Reminded me of a friend of mines twin boys. One propped the others leg up on the coffee table then jumped on it. Glad your feeling better WCc and got some sleep last night. Think today will be a good bread making day. Will make rolls too for sammies up north. Gotta get the dishes done first. Better get to it.

I'm hoping someone is gonna bring me back 2 lovely B.C.M. from the show, nicely feathered with great lines and laying huge mohogany eggs lol Wishful thinkn huh!! (everyones going camping!!) lol

BL4 that makes my arm hurt just thinking about it. It's been 14 years for me having plates and screws in my right arm. I fell off my bike and broke both bones. and now when the weather gets cool it HURTS bad. thinking about getting them removed but that may hold me down to much. OUCH! got me cringing!
