Looks pretty good as long as you don't turn on any lights. I'll put some of the trim back on today and pull the tape. Have to go look in the coop again was just out there and 2 w's were on the nest and didn't want to disturb them, precious little so and so's.

I think the "(no) more than four" is meant towards the rabbits. cause if you have it to include up to 4 chickens, it would also include all the rest of the critters listed.
but what the heck? like BBP said you can have a pot bellied pig but not chickens? at least with chickens they can feed you. (I'm sure you could eat that pig, but

Hi All,
I just got an email from Elaine..
this is what she wrote.
I can't see via candling in your big eggs so I can't tell you how those are. Guess we'll just have to wait to see. Although I probably will do a stink test, If they don't stink they'll stay put. Your smaller eggs are doing GREAT! Lots of veins and lots of movement visible in a couple of 'em. REALLY EXCITING - WOOT!

Hate to say this but I'm with raimnel on this one. I would say more than 4 rabbits is a no-no since it is written: , rabbits (more then four),. But seriously, Pot Belly Pigs are ok? But what I did take from it was that 4-H Club chickens were exempt from the ordinance, although it gets murky as far as "not including the raising of said animal". Do you happen to "have" any kids that are 4-H eligable? That might be your ticket to legal chicken ownership...

Hurley, those babies are beautiful!

Chickenx sadly I agree with the others, think that four was in reference to the rabbits and not the chickens. Also agree that ordinances are ridiculous.. pot bellied pig (under 80 lbs... how many chickens would one have to have to reach 79 lbs???) but no chickens. Not that I have anything against pigs (ok, I confess I do, got bit by a baby one years ago and have never forgiven the species! and prefer them on my plate and not in my yard!) but I'd rather have chickens next door than a pig.

Dr Ha - not worried about the house, he looked at more today and has more lined up for tomorrow. I always look at things in the light that we always end up where we are meant to be.

4 rabbits, OK,, chickens NO.. I would hate to be traveling through your town coming home from a swap.. the ordinance states it is illegal to even bring them into town..

4H 'ers can show them, but not raise them in town..

have somebody drive thrugh town and get stopped.. then if the town says that it is OK because you are just passing through;NOPE, you brought them(chickens) into town.. they are bending their own ordinance.. so then you can bend it also and keep some chickens....

I read an ordinance not long ago where it was not allowed to spread rabbit "pellets" on your yard , flowers or garden.. wild rabbits were allowed to poop on your yard, however.. LOL

who the hell writes this stuff?? LOL
