Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

this is not my opinion, but everyone is suppose to have an ID, even if you have only one bird, if you show, sell, test birds or in anyway on the states radar that you have farm animals, you need one. i know of some who don't, there is a lot of controversy about it, the national program has been scraped, I know the Amish will not do it, one of the governor's jumped the gun and got it going in the state (money), its free right now and as has been said every 3 yr renew

it is on the books as a law

The point i am trying to make without getting on a soap-box is.:

It bothers me that you younger people do not notice the changes we older pople have seen.. mainly because you were born into the already established change.. and that is how it will keep on going.. the govt will take away priveleges,,the existing people will be upset,, and then we will die and the new people will be born and not know any different.. the govt lives forever, each of our time are limited.. It might take ten generations, but the govt will eventually rule every aspect of the peoples' lives.. I am off my soap box now..

Good morning...you that state number IS a law. I did it the first year and when I ran into snags renewing on line I never did it again...it was all supposed to turn into a tracking device so they could know where animals were. As horse owners we vehemently opposed it...they were talking microchips and reporting to the state whenever your horse (or any animal) leaves your property. THey said it was to warn you of disease outbreak....I did get some interesting stuff in the mail for a while...I figured it was more for collecting "their due" when you sold an animal. My vet told me at the last appointment that the plan was all stalled--I sure wish it would go away totally!
Had a surprise when I went outside yesterday but I have to leave for work so I will keep you all in suspense until later....

Have a fantastic day! Terri O--the outlaw!

I just have to tell you one more story.. It is about my youngest brother.. he has 3 sons..

My brother is one of those guswho will hunt anything, anytime, anywhere.. lives to hunt.. a few years ago he wentto get is "everything" hunt/fish license.. one of the spaces was for your SSN.. he did notfill in that box.. they refused to issue his license.
He asked why? they told him that is how we track dead-beat fathers.. He said, my youngest son is already in college,, I am not a dead beat father.. still no license..

so he went and wrote a statement that he was not a dead beat father, had it legally notorized and took it to the courthouse to pick up his license.. still the answer was no SSN ; no license..

the story is still longer, but he finally did get his license without giving his SSN.. It took awhile..

just saying,,,,,,,

Bravo Jim! And so many changes are put through under the radar. All of a sudden it's a law. I'll pay my taxes and die. The rest is up to me. Screw em! TO

your absolutely right, but it is law and they are not even giving dairy farmers the license they need to sell milk unless they have that stupid number, even though the license to sell milk tracks in the same why (mostly), they are still trying to push the electric tracking, you can sign up for free tags if you have sheep and follow the program. not for me. the worst part is if they scrap this program they can same alot of money, but no they cut education instead.

if I could get out of participating i would, but for me its mixed in with alot I do, and I can't afford the fight, they know that too

I have just one egg in the hatcher right now. It is a goose egg due on April 1.. It won't alone for long, today I am transferring 8 dozen chicken egs into the hatcher..

I inquired on another site about some mixed color guinea eggs.
$30.oo..... each? More? where from.. shipping extra? pretty vague ad.. I actually am just jerking the guys chain a bit. I am not going to buy any.. I just like to shake these half/information people up a bit..

I have to go get a hair cut.. or a dog license.. LOL

I have 6 turkey eggs to set and 1 goose egg.. it looks like 3 turkeys are laying now.. still laying in the chicken coop.. makes them easy to find..
