Jim are you going to the swap n Spring Valley? Long drive for you. Its close to me. There is one in Neillesville on Oct. 8. $2 Clark County Fairgrounds 6 am must have test papers to sell all animals welcome~and some people too


October first is our show in Menomonie. I am going to meet some silkie people here on BYC that are coming to the show.

I didn't start yet at that time. and now we are done about an hour ago. lol I like homeschooling. as long as the kids are happy. homeshooling didn't work with the 2 older kids.

DS8 looked at me weird when I told him to just answer the question that he didn't have to write it ALL out. he writes other things, so why bother with writing a ton of things. He really likes homeschooling. specially that I can fly him thought things that he already knows. YAY!

gotta run again, older 2 will be home in an hour and then starts the home work with them

I'll reply to things later.... right now I have a problem!

My broody (Lacey) has sat on her eggs for 21 days today! She got off the nest and went potty, but she stayed off longer than usual, but did go back. When she was off I looked at the eggs and there was one less than last time I looked and the eggs looked dirty. Ok, I figure, maybe the eggs are bad... I was going to candle the to check, the first 2 I picked up started cheeping at me! So I put them back. Lacey came back to the brood box but dose not want to set now! Should I pull them and try to incubate them of leave them? I will take quite a while for the bator to heat up. Any other ideas?

OK.... she's back on the nest but it's been like 3 hours!

BLACK and more black ...Half draft and Morgan and alittle Arabian too! loves people and is ready to be green broke. Gelded last fall. I am working too much and he is too beautiful to be left alone so long. Good home only please.

Well I am going to be wintering over 4 chickens for a fellow, he will pay for their feed so that is a plus. I might end up with one of the chicks as he got two for his broodie hens to hatch out.


Are we for sure going to be meeting on Oct 1st? and where??
