What a beautiful day for the bash, sounds like you all had a great time. Loved the pics. We got a lot of yard work done and DH finished the bigger coop. Made Chicken soup and Apple Crisp

That was a nice looking tractor. Looks like ours, only with a better paint job.

And the weather was just wonderful! I didn't know Deb right away: noone showed up dressed like the Michelin Man.

Good Morning all !!! Yep, it is technically morning 12:49am

What a day !!!! I am SO SO SO SO MAD that I couldn't make it to the bash, I stayed down there just so I could go !!! I was freezing last night, kept adjusting the thermostat. Called my brother in the morning, he is a furnace guy.Well he was doing a side job and said he'd be about an hour. Well it was 2.5 hours. I didn't have internet so couldn't hop on.

Anyway, by the time he left it was way to late to get there. Plus I lost my cel phone, well actually I put it in my purse which I rarely do and I had it packed in the truck !!!!! So couldn't call anyone !!!! Geez !!!!

So I kept adding things to the truck and didn't roll out of Racine until 6PM after I stopped at the cemetary and lite 3 candles for my Mom, Dad & Brother.

Friday night I stopped at Joanns Fabrics and bought feathers and made some earings, and feather pins for Buttons and me to wear ! I bought her a pink ribbon scarf and my a pink sweatshirt because October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. We were gonna have matching Pink with our feather pins !!!!! Well we still do but nobody saw them

So I am sitting at McDonalds in Antigo right now !!! 32 miles from home !!!

I'm Beat. This week I've put on 956.2 miles with another 32 to go !!!! I'm beat !!!

So to top it off I didn't get the maltese/bichon yesterday the woman was going out of town and I just missed her but I almost came home with a black kitten.

I stopped at Lomira's McDonalds for supper and pulled over and just got on the phone with Dh and a black older kitten was right outside my window. I told him I had to go !!!
Well, fed the kitten half my cheeseburger and some young teenagers came along. I asked if they would help me catch the cat. They said it has been hanging around for weeks. Well, it ran across the street. So I went to Dollar General and bought cat food, dry and canned. Went back and waited. Then saw it go across the road to the woods. Oh and I bought a laundry basket to try to catch it !!!

The young men had come back to help since I told them I would pay them $20 if they caught it. Well I was sitting along the woods with a lime green basket and I saw the kitten watching me but it wasn't to tame.
They boy called a friend so then there were three of them. No such luck. After 2 hours I decided I had better leave it. I asked them if they had a place to keep it if they caught it and they said yes. I gave them my phone number and told them I would come get it if they caught it. Plus I would pay them $10 each.
They were very nice young men, 18,17 & 16. Betcha they thought I was nuts (no comment from you three stooges !!! ) I showed them my silkies and showgirl chickens !!!
I used to have a black cat just like that one, black with yellow eyes !!! Remember Cind, I loved your black cat. I worry so much about black cats during halloween time.

I was going to name it Lomira. One of DH and my first dates was a trip to Shooters Supply to buy me a skeet gun (I bought it but he bought me a nice bag, guess I knew he liked me !!! LOL) So I thought this poor kitten was meant to come home with me but I guess not. Anybody live in Lomira that can go catch the poor thing for me ?????

So anyway, when I get home I have to settle all the chickens in !!! Will empty the truck tomorrow. Dishwasher is still back there. Would you believe Friday I was driving around with the hatch down, window was closed but hatch down. I had gone to put the pumpkins that I grew at the cemetary and the tub that they were in was on the tailgate !!!
Now don't you think someone would have beeped at me or something to let me know ???? I was D@mn lucky I didn't lose my dishwasher !!! And at first when I got home I thought I lost my big bag of shavings that I had just picked up at Farm & Fleet

I'll tell ya it sure sucks getting old and decreped (sp) I didn't think I would ever get packed up !!! Now I have to unpack since DH is already in bed. Plus I was reminded on the way home that this was the weekend that he ws going to go hunting out by his friends place by the Dells someplace, for the life of me don't remember now. I told him, Yeah I thought so, why didn't you say someting, he said cause you wanted to go to the bash !!!
Well, now I"m sure I'll never hear the end of it that I didn't make it to the bash and he didn't get to go hunting out there !!!
He went out on our 60 and I asked if he saw anything. Nope, no deer, just the three bears again !!!
I want to get a trail cam for myself to get pictures of them. I need treestand with steps so I can sit and take pictures of nature !!
Ok, I'm starting to get sleepy, better get home. And close before this goes Poof !!! Plus my hands are really hurting from driving and typing (my neuropathies)
