Happy B'day to you Cind!!!!! Congrats to Adam! BBP cute puppy! I wanna ride it! Twiz many new additions for you! Pics needed. Come on Jim when are we gonna get to see some pics? One thing I do like about Olivers is the enclosed engine, I worry about snagging wires when in the woods. TO makin tacos today here, good day for it. Heather sorry to get a new handle going for ya, really honest.

Hope your good sense of humor holds up. CC I feel so bad for the new EE's they are VERY gregarious. They manage to sneak in with a bunch until the older hens realize who they are. They are so cute! Sparkey really wants to make them his, he's low roo, kinda feel sorry for him. I watched last night as Peatwo rounded up everyone and put them to bed the EE's went in the run and were the last to be herded in and went right up on the roost.

Didn't realize it until a couple of weeks ago that Peatwo kicks them all out in the morning too. He IS in charge! GET OUTSIDE, GET OVER HERE, GO TO BED! I checked them over for bugs before I brought them home and Donny's flock is healthy so that's why I did it this way. Will get some pics soon. They have the cutest lil voices. I talk chicken talk to them all the time as I do with all of them. Think if an outsider were to walk up and watch/listen I'd be hauled away. Was glad I got up yesterday. I learned something. I was looking at my 3 pt weight barrel set up trying to figure out a better way of putting it on without bending the crap out of it with the creeping hydraulics or grave personal injury. Donny stopped over and said why don't you just put the lift arms on and pick it up by hand to install the the top link pin? WHAT? Didn't realize that a city boy could do that!

2 easy Vic ! Dan I had a truck prone to moisture think I sprayed the dist. down with WD and that helped. judge nothing worse than surprise attacks glad your solving the problem. GR65 was going to ask if Adam was doing long haul, whose he going to drive for? Did that for a spell saw a lot of country can't say as I miss living in the mirrors and 4 wheelers trying to kill me. Watching the new kids trying to fit in.

DrH,, get yourself a metal 55 gallon barrel and run a solid rod through the center just above midway up.. then just grab it with your lift arms of the 3 pt and raise it.. secure the height with the stabilizer bars and it will hold the height without the hydraulics fading..
reinforce the two points where the rod protrudes out of the barrel with plumbing flanges..

you might want to attach a third arm to prevent the barrel from swinging and hitting your PTO shaft..

Yeah Doc... CC will pick up on anything in appropriate...;). I do need to correct her though, it would be big ear (singular), you can call be bigboobs4you (but hubby wouldn't like that), bigmouth4me (oh wait, that fits CC, too confusing), dirtydirtymind4all (appropriate), or BigFam. I might not answer to all, but you can call me them just the same...;)

Chuckle chuckle at Dan... Pink, purple, or darn near black (oh wait... Thats something else...)

I'm hoping for someone to have spit out a bit o coffee this morning with pervy comedic talent of Dan and I. Hey folks, the show is free. Tips are appreciated.... :D :D :D :D

good AM, DrH my oliver is the utility type,, no shields on the motor.. just like your Fjiord..
I often thought that those enclosed engine compartments would cause overheating on a hot day..

I will have to feed the chickens inside the lean to today.. it looks like the rain is here to stay for awhile..

a little late for the rain for the gardens, , but the blackberries need a lot of moisture going into the autumn.. sets them up good for next year..

not a single hit on any of my ads for birds.. Hello children, can you say 'fryers' ?
I hate to butcher pullets, but...............

DrH, good luck on finding a puppy saddle..

happy birthday Cindy.... all good people are born in September..
and happy birthday to Suzie,, I had two cousins, and a close friend of my parents and a cousin of one of my cousins .. all 5 of us were born within the 3 days , Sept 11, 12, and 13.. It must have been one heII of a new year's party...

I am going to eat a very light breakfast, I am going to have my DD#2 take me out for a late lunch.. Chinese.. Pa nang Kai ....... Re'Ed Robin,,,,,,,,,Yummmmm.......

Got a 2 fer the new kids and my 3pt weight. Obviously ended up taking a pic of the 4' roo pic. Always wondered about the overheating too but then thought hey it has a radiator. That weight barrel isn't heavy enough with just cinder blocks but it helps. Was thinking along those lines with a 55 gal drum. But was thinking of mounting the lift arm pins low so that it wouldn't hit the ground if it were to leak down. More thinin ahead. Was also thinking about a lift hook for dragging trees with. Sure would help avoid those sudden stump stops. Happy B'day to Susie Too!
