Bigz, awww, you're sweet. You the bestest too.
Tom, about time you checked in. Sorry to hear about the attack. I have a beautiful lav orp roo that would just love to come home with you. I can drop him off by Frenchie this weekend.
Vicki, congrats on the Kindle & you can stop the picking at the butt feathers with a combo of repeated applications of the Blu-Kote and repeated verbal warnings to the perp. You have to spend a lot of time with them & actually catch them doing it, then scold them each time before it starts to sink in. Rose used to do that to Moose quite a bit & the dummy just stood there.
I have to chuckle now because every once in a while I can still see a hint f blue on his keester when he bends over.
But if you're consistant, it
should stop. Cute lil egg, BTW. I had one just like that not long ago when my gold laced orps started laying. I just assumed it was from one of them.
Ghost, chin up, girl. That really sucks, but you gotta be strong for your man. You may be miserable, but he is too, and at least you are in the comfort of your home surrounded by your critters who love you. He doesn't have that luxury.
Delisha, thanks for sharing your recipe. It sounds delish!
Jim, great job on the trailer.
Bigfam, no chickens in my house!
For the moment, anyway............
That is subject to change at any given time...... And
Bl4, Dr. Inglese? Seriously? Like no speaka?
Hurley, wow, what a day you had! Excellent job. I'm certain the owners are very relieved to have you.
Beautiful day down here too. Sure wish this weather would last longer, like right thru April.......... Ahhhh, way too tired to chat much & have lots to do tomorrow, so sweet dreams, all!
