Wolves On My Property!

Stayed the night in Cour D' Alene, on my way up to 'Lasky way...hehehe, her reputation did preceed her...Although, I didn't know 'bout CDA rep, 'til I got to 'Laska...

I agree that the reintroduction was badly messed up I think they should have used Canadian wolves but the Eastern Canadian wolves in Algonquin park. Its a tiny tiny population but the wolves are small and they are genetically related to the Red wolves that once roamed almost all of the US but are not extinct except for parts of the Southern US. I think there are some Mongolian dogs that can fight wolves but probably not the Alaskan kind although from what I have heard Mongolian wolves are huge and travel in packs of up to 30. Now that the Mongolian wolves are almost gone the dogs are almost gone to along with the herding people of the steppe.

If you all are looking for waste consider the 98million tons of food a year wasted by us at the grocery store. Nat Geo recently ran a article plus pictures of the Yellowstone area pre wolf and after, the difference is huge.It is now a very diverse balanced eco system, the way nature planned.
