LOL It's o.k. I'm sure it's different when trying to treat your own family, animals, etc. That emotional attachment makes us think differently.Duh!!! I swear I’m a nurse... just usually it’s not to baby chicks
Mission accomplished!!! Yeah... these little chickies got my heart wrapped around there little toes and in knots when they don’t seem well!!LOL It's o.k. I'm sure it's different when trying to treat your own family, animals, etc. That emotional attachment makes us think differently.
They are a bit curled...I will give that a try as well. How long do I need to do this? She might have curled toes. In the video in seems her toes are kind of curled. Thats what will make her not be able to walk well. In order to fix it, take a piece of tape and a thick piece of paper the size of her foot. Put the paper on the tape and wrap and uncurl the toes. If this isn't the case well good luck on em!
Thank you so much for the suggestion!! The B-complex helped her so much!! Other then being a bit behind in feathering she is upright again and running around just as well as the others!! I am so grateful for the advice!!For video upload to youtube, provide us a link. The BYC upload does not work.
I think the video may be helpful - you mention it's wonky(?) what does that mean?
Is the leg turned in/out, the foot curling, joint swelling?
What are you feeding?
I would get some B2 (Riboflavin) into her - you can use poultry vitamins that contains it or give 1/4 tablet human B-Complex for a week.
Glad to hear she is doing better!Thank you so much for the suggestion!! The B-complex helped her so much!! Other then being a bit behind in feathering she is upright again and running around just as well as the others!! I am so grateful for the advice!!
