Worm in chickens eye?

Which of these is safe around and in the area of the eye and lids?
It looked like eye flukes to me so if you remove them manually there could be eggs to deal with or secondary infection .The piperazine is put in the water at recommended dosage . Look up eye flukes in chickens and there is a good description there . Good luck . I said this because my memory isn't what it use to be :love

Wow! You may have nailed this. I'm reading up on eye flukes and treatment now. This site looks like it covers it pretty well:

Eye worms are one of the rare types of poultry worms. They are more common in tropical areas where the Surinam cockroach lives, since that is the intermediate host. @dawg53 has posted a treatment in the past, using Valbazen (albendazole) given 1/2 ml orally, and taking a small amount of Valbazen mixed with water or saline, and applying that into the eye. Repeat both treatments in 14 days.
