Here's one more link for you. Sorry I haven't been able to pin point this for you. It might be worth logging onto featherfanciers.com and asking Dr. Brown under the ask the doc section. He's a poultry specialist and I am quite certain he'll know what it is and how to treat it if it's treatable.

Well, I never found out what exactly the worms are but I did go ahead and worm the chickens. I am going to examine them closely and make sure that the problem is solved. I just wanted to say Thank You gumpsgirl for all of your help, I know you spent alot of time on my problem and I really appreciate it.

No problem! I only wish we could have found a diagnosis. Let me know if de-worming them took care of the problem. Fingers and toes crossed, it did!

I used Ivomec. They did very well with it and they have perked up quite a bit.

Ivermectin is used for a lot of different types of parasites, so hopefully that will take care of it. I'm glad they are feeling better.
