Would you like to help settle this?

My favorite color of OEGB is the Red Pyles. They have been a long favorite of mine

They just carry that very showy stance that nicely displays the colors well, eh.
Another real good one for RPs are the Red Pyle American Games
Yes, American games, too. I've seen some attempts at red pyle Leghorns, but wasn't too impressed.

These guys have a different but equally striking color pattern.

Yokohamas are very great birds. I love the white patterned spangling.
I love most ornament and game fowls, they are all very impressing birds

Agree. The solid white ones are beautiful, too, but there's no other breed with the coloring of the red shouldered. It would be interesting to know how it came about and what the genetics are-- but that is for another thread on another forum. We've gotten pretty far off topic lol.

The hens are generally very calm. The roosters (with the exception of some) are pretty feisty

Looks like a cross breed.
Sorry, I don't think I was clear. I'm not wondering about my girl; I know that she is a Norwegian Jaerhon. I was suggesting that the OP might also have a Norwegian Jaerhon because hers doesn't look to have red earlobes in the pictures (though they're blurry so it's hard to tell), but rather white earlobes like the Norwegian Jaerhon has. Just my thought.

I'll put up some pictures that show the difference. The main things are that creles are barred birds and have gold and silver in their plumage, in different places. Females should mainly have it at the neck. Silver duckwings are not barred and should have no gold at all in the plumage.

Also, if you look at the male's wings in the silvers, they do somewhat resemble a duck's wing, with the darker area at the shoulder, which is shiny green in the light, resembling a duck's metallic blue or green speculum. The creles don't have this because there is barring in that area.

Wow Jed! That’s excellent information I’ll likely use in the future! Thanks so much for taking the time to teach me something new! I’m always surprised at how much my fellow chicken aficionados here know.. and how willing you all are to share that wealth of knowledge! Thanks again!
