Hmmmm what do I have I can put in the brooder for them? I gave them some scrambled egg and they had no idea what to do with it. Maybe I'll try a couple mealworms.

Just wondering...how old are the chicks you're feeding treats to? Is 1 week too young for treats?

When mine first had their share they grabbed on and ran around SCREAMING in circles afraid someone else would take it.

Their whole lives are going to be like that. The leaders will try new things and the others will follow after watching the leaders. I have one hen, almost two years old, that still won't touch the morning treats until after everyone else has and these are the same treats in the same spot since she was a baby.

My chicks are about 2 weeks old. I decided to fed them some crickets and see how they liked them. At first my 2 chicks avoided them. Finally one tried to peck one and it was on. That cricket was chased around till she got it and then she ran around peeping while the other one wanted to see what she had gotten. Now if I stick a cricket in there brooder I can count on one hand the seconds to the great chase and hunt is over. It is alot of fun watching them run around and chase the crickets. I highly recommend this experience.
"Chick TV" I gave away my television years ago............... I find the birds to be a whole lot more entertaining
Don't forget the grit if you are feeding treats. I gave mine parakeet grit when they started getting treats.
