The baby bird food will work best. As for the tube, TSC probably won't have those, but they might have the syringe, sure won't hurt to ask. If you have a small animal vet in town call them and ask for a size 16 or 18 french catheter and a catheter tip syringe. You last option is to get some aquarium tubing or refrigerator waterline and use that instead, but be sure to heat one end with a lighter to make it smooth.ok so you've convinced me!! i will see about going out in a bit...weather seems to have cleared up a smidge, at least it's not pouring and lightning like it was! as far as the tubes, would Tractor Supply have them do you think and do i have to buy a special feed like you mentioned in one of the links you sent or would the baby food work?
He's a small bird, so I would start with 5ml of fluids, wait 15-20minutes them do it again. Too much too fast might cause him to vomit and aspirate. Remember, warmed fluids first to correct hydration, then fluids mixed with food..
