Pretty hen :thumbsup

I checked on the Blue Slate hen this morning. She had two more Sweetgrass poults and one Tri-Color Mottled Black poult hatched. There are at least two more eggs that are pipped. I am now up to 17 Sweetgrass and the one black poult.

This morning's catch was one Sweetgrass poult, one Tri-Color Mottled Black poult and two Tri-Color Mottled Slate poults. Of course ther was also a mad hen to deal with. She still has two unhatched eggs but it is unknown whether or not they are viable.

It shouldn't be too much longer until the little Wilson's warblers show up. I am disappointed, it is already the 3rd of August and I have not seen a single hummer yet.

I've only seen 1 hummer so far. It went buzzing past me down at the golf course about 3 weeks ago. None since
