5 1/4" of the white stuff so far and it is coming down heavier now than it was last night.

It's been coming down all night and hasn't let up a bit here. It's too early for this! (At least I think so, Mother Nature apparently thinks differently.)

Yes it is still snowing. I am currently up to 6 3/4". All of the poultry are hanging out inside their coops today.

Mine too. I did just go out a bit ago and shovel out part of the run so they would be more inclined to venture out. I'm pretty sure that won't be the last I see of my shoveling today.

Don't know about Casper but the snow finally stopped up here this morning. We probably got 2 to 3 inches but the wind was terrible all day yesterday and still blowing 10 to 15 mph this morning. It sure brought the cold in. 12 degrees while ago when I looked. Chill factor -2. You're right it's too early for this!

It's still snowing here. It got down to 18°F this morning but has warmed all the way up to 22°F right now. The wind is fairly mild or it would be drifting badly.

Yep, winter's a coming. Just saw the first big V of geese headed south. If I was them I'd already have been there!

I already have a number of the songbirds that tend to show up later. The Juncos and the White-crowned Sparrows are here along with at least 7 Blue Jays.

It is back down to 18°F here. It is still snowing but just barely. The sun almost came out and was keeping it melted on bare surfaces.
