Yard Sale Find: Look How Pretty!

Wow, they're almost identical in their styling, aren't they? I'd prefer your antique any day though, I love antiques. Do you "use" yours for anything or just a decoration?

I know they are almost identical....lol I did a double take when I saw your pic...so pretty painted:) I use it as a decoration. I wanted to put a plant in there, however I didn't want to risk water damage. I was thinking of putting some air ferns in both of them....I love old bird cages.....so fun

It's funny, I happened to be with my dad when I was downtown and saw it. My dad isn't much for yard sales, but I promised I'd only be a second. I came back with it, and he was checking it out and saying that if I didn't want it, he'd buy it from me to give to his wife. I'm like "No way! It's mine!"

And yes, trailing ivy is exactly what I have in mind....

I was thinking the same thing about water damage. I don't mind so much with this one, because it's obviously a replica, but I probably wouldn't dare with yours... maybe a good fake plant?

Just noticed your added edit.

Notice how I just politely rephrased my plans for it by discussing my bedroom redecorating?

And "what are you going to do about it" is just too funny. WHAT'S IT TO YA!?
