Yellow oozing carbuncle on Muscovy drake

My Muscovy drakes carbuncle on the end of his nose is yellow/orange and is oozing clear yellow discharge if I touch it. Seems fine otherwise. But what could it be?

The yellow discharge would be indicative of a localized infection; such infections can originate if the bird routinely scraped the caruncle on an object such as a feeder, or wire. If you have another male t might be possible they got into a fight and the area got infected. I would try to apply a warm compress to the area, and attempt to squeeze any discharge/material out and pack the area with an antibacterial ointment, and hopefully, you'll see a reduction in the discharge.
