Yellow scabs on rooster's comb

My black copper marans rooster Beatrice has developed bright yellow scabs on his comb as well as purpleish unhealthy looking areas on his wattles. Previously he has had fowl pox (which he recovered from completely a month ago) and favus, which I tried treating with athlete's foot cream but would not go away. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what this might be and how I should treat it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
