YO GEORGIANS! :)

It's a sad day for Auburn fans and Georgia fans, Philip Lutzenkirchen, former Auburn TE was killed in a car wreck this weekend along with former Georgia player Ian Davis. I will never forget his contribution to Auburn's 2010 National Title run or his unique end zone celebration when he scored against Alabama. RIP

The female is a black Cayuga. The other, I dunno, but AB does

We are planning on a little flock of cayugas. Get with GAM and see what she thinks about us taking them.

We'd love to have them. The boy might have to be set up in a new relationship, though. (We have a Cayuga drake that needs a lady ... but we have lots of other girls that your boy could hang with.)

Send me a message and we'll work out the details ... if you're ok with them coming here.

I wish it would rain here. 3 weeks with barely a half inch. My front yard almost died on me. Now I'm pouring the water on trying to revive it.

I am looking at deworming my chickens. I dont have an issue, but I want to do it anyway. What is the easiest/best method. I would like something as hands off as possible. Something I can put in their water or food.

You can use the commonly available and popular Wazine, but there is controversy over whether or not to toss any eggs laid while on wormer and soon after worming. It does not contain any info on the label because it was not studied in laying hens. It is labeled for meat birds. I have wormed all of my birds with it before, and just tossed the eggs for a week and a half ( I had only four laying irregularly at the time, so no big deal). I've also mixed Diatomacious Earth into their food and sprinkled it on the ground and in their coops. There is also a thread on BYC about using horse wormer paste to worm chickens, but Ive never tried it (have used it to worm dogs though). PS -The Wazine goes into their water, dosage repeated for a few days; find it a Tractor supply in the chicken section (smaller bottle), and near the goat stuff (same stuff, bigger bottle, less expensive per dose in bigger bottle).
