YO GEORGIANS! :)

I tested the dials I bought with the salt test. Get a soda bottle cap, fill it with table salt. wet the salt, but you don't want water standing on top of it. Put that and the hygrometer in a zip lock bag and zip it shut. In 6 hours, it should read 75%. so whatever it reads you'll know what to add or subrtact. Like for mine, one was reading 85% the other was reading 70%. so what that first one reads, I know it's actually 10% less, the other one, it's 5% more than what it reads. I wrote it on each one, so I don't have to trust this memory of mine to remember, LOL

putting them both in with the built in one, they were really close, but the built in one wasn't even close when I did it

I have a freestanding unit in the same room as the incubator that does not have a bulb on it. Would that work for this, just wondering if it would or if I still need to purchase the kind with the bulb attachment.

I have a free standing digital unit too, I put it in there but I think the extra heat in there effected it, it was never close to ANY of the other ones, LOL

Well I'm at the TSC bright and early but there are only 3 chicken folks outside set up nothing here so far that I hoped to pick up other than feed

It was great meeting you, Cliff, Sable and Katsdar today
And I did end up selling enough today to make some purchases tomorrow :)

I was also disappointed there weren't more sellers today.

On that note, the Cartersville store manager said if I want to pick a date and send out the info, we are welcome to use his parking lot whenever! And they have that extra dead end road, so lots of room without being in anyone's way.

Anyone have suggested dates? Maybe Mar 26 to have one at our end of the state, since that was quite a ride today?
Will anyone have birds to sell by then?

I should have tons of chicks and hatching eggs.

You'd come to Cartersville? If we can get about a dozen sellers, I think we could do well.
I am willing to do the networking and get the word out as much as possible.

Maybe even some yard sales to draw people in? That seemed to help a lot today I think.

Make sure the store manager has all his paperwork in. He has to apply for special licenses, I think.

Congrats! That's fabulous! Keep the pictures coming!
Thanks Flowerbh! Those are really nice chicks you posted!

24 of 25? wow that's awesome! and the other could pip soon, so you're getting a really good rate so far!
Thanks PapaChaz!

Congrats. I am bummed as I think my Little Giant G forced air incubator has gone bad, I have and had several eggs in it this spring and can't keep the humidity stable for the first time since I've had it. I don't hold out much hope for a hatch, but I'm giving them their time frame.
Thanks OohLaLa! I hope you get your bator fixed!

Thanks Henthused!
24 out of 25 is Soooo right! Good luck to you and all your chicks
This meant for SilverHill.
