Yes, silkies and sizzles are super sweet bantams, so they will stay relatively small. Actually, these are my wife's birds. I like the LF (large fowl), especially English Orpingtons. I have to admit though; I think the silkie and sizzle chicks are the cutest. They are fun.

I hear it's very rare that it works, usually there's just not enough space for both chicks to develop and it just doesn't work out. That's a dang big egg though, I'm excited to see if it does work for you! Best of luck!One of my girls gave me this egg today the squares are one inch for reference. I candled it and it is a double yolker. I'm going to try and hatch it.since it is such a big egg maybe it will have enough room to develop. Anyone ever hatch a double yolker?
