I should be down there sometime late August to early September. But you will need to get with GAM to talk about eggs. That's her thing. I will be happy to deliver them though. We always stay at Seminole State Park.
if you break her from being broody she won't be sitting on those eggs, IMO I'd put her some place within beak reach of food and water and give her an egg to sit on.I've got my chocolate bantam orps!!! yay!!![]()
Now the issue is, one of my grown hens has gone BROODY which is not a bad thing... but her eggs are not fertile! She has been sitting for about a week. I've taken her off the nest and sat her out in the run and just this morning i took out all the eggs she was sitting on. I've actually ordered some fertile eggs for her to hatch out and should arrive next week. But until then any advice on keeping her out and about or keeping her healthy is appreciated. I do work full time which is the downside but i want my girls happy and healthy!!
