YO GEORGIANS! :)

Bruce, I ended up with 3 AC roosters and 2 females. One failed to thrive. Never got bigger and I found it dead after about 3 weeks. Anyway, I will be selling most of them.
Becky, sorry that you lost one. The AC roosters look pretty cool. They're the ones that really stand out in a flock of mixed chickens. Have you integrated your ACs with the rest of your flock yet? If so, how are they all getting along?

Since we've moved back to the old house, it seems like Lisa and I can't get a handle on our projects. I want to construct a coop to handle about five hens. I've got the foundation done. I just need to finish the building. I haven't decided what breed(s) we will get. We really enjoy the FBCMs and any kind of Orpington. Maybe we'll do something different this time. Hopefully I'll get the quail operation going in early Spring. That building is pretty much finished. I just need to add the racks and improve the ventilation.

I bought a 10' x 12' greenhouse kit for Lisa that I need to assemble. She's been into succulents for awhile, but now she's getting into bromeliads as well. I need to get that building constructed before Winter hits in earnest. Dragging tender vegetation in and out of the house gets old fast.

I'm not sure what we're going to do with the GQF incubator. It's such a nice unit, and I hate to see it just sitting here collecting dust, so we may end up selling it. It's funny how plans change.

Holy Smokes! I just went out to the coop for the morning and it looks like a pillow fight took place! There are so many feathers I could start a pillow company! My poor chickens! They are either molting or going broody! Remind me never to schedule a chicken photo shoot this time of year! They all look terrible! LOL!

Becky, thanks for posting those pix. Your ACs are stunning! I don't see any white at all! The combs and wattles look great! I like how that cockerel in the second-to-last photo seems to be putting his leg out and posing for the shot. lol! In that Poindexter photobombing on the log?
No, that was a molting Sampson, my frizzled Brahma mix. Here is Poindexter, my Naked Neck Frizzle boy.
