I had one more hatched out last night when i got home from work. So that is 6 out of 6 100% hatch rate. on the Cuckoo Marans. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed for 21 Dec 2013 I think that is Saturday. I have 8 Black Copper Marans hatching. I can't wait. If you can tell by Now i'm a Maran freak I don't know why I just am. Oh did I forget to say I have 1 dozen Cuckoo Marans Eggs, 2 dozen Blue/Black/Splash Copper Marans eggs going in the Bator on the day the BCM hatch. Plus I might throw 6 more BCM in there just for good measure.

Hi everyone! Been busy building coops and runs (and dodging rain and frost). Congrats on the new chicks! Hope to get caught up reading all that I have missed. I need to sell some roos- I have 6 10wk olds and 8 or 9 5 wks old. They are game but not sure of proper name of breed ex hatch, etc.


Most are black breasted and some of them have blue/green legs. Here is the father

Totally bummed. I ordered Tolbunt hatching eggs and only one hatched. At one week you can see it's starting to turn cross beak. My heart is in my socks, I hate to cull and it looks like I'll have to again now. My heart is heavy for this little baby and a total loss of my investment.
