Once you catch her, put a towel over her head to block her vision, and then flip her on her back. You'll PROBABLY want the towel to cover the feet so she doesn't scratch. And I tend to lean in, or put my arms over her legs to push their legs down. so they don't scratch the towel itself and "climb" out of it. So basically I kinda use my torso to pin them down.
Just make sure the end you're trying to look at (head or tail) is closer to your face so when you lean in you don't have to spin the chicken around to see it, lol
