That's great! I was just about to ask, since I haven't been able to get caught up on the thread today. I have five of twelve hatched so far, with three more in the process. I'm hoping the last four show pips soon. I'm also waiting to check my two doe rabbits that were bred to my best buck the day before he died; I'll be hoping for a "Cheddar Jr.". I'm glad that Buddy was able to pass on his legacy.

I was just finishing up at about the time you posted this

. I had to wait for a friend to get done with her errands, but she and I have a good deal of experience with doggie home-doctoring and wound care, etc. , so I was glad to have her help. We both watched the video referenced on BYC the most, and with our background experience it was easier than we thought. I was done in 20 minutes, and boy was there a lot of dried grass! Hay is now illegal in my coops. Elizabeth is resting comfortably in the computer room, wearing her fancy figure-eight "vest" of purple vet-wrap over her super-glued 1.5 inch incision. I'm going to go get her some yogurt in a minute. The procedure went just as you described; I guess I can add to my resume now, lol.
This is her immediately post-op at my shop at the farm. She's not thrilled about the vest.

YAY!
I had to do benign tumor surgery on a bantam porcelain d'uccle before. It was kinda gross. But it DID affect him, because although it was benign, it was flesh. But it folded his far right toe UNDER the toes to the left, so I had to do it. He had problems with bumblefoot for AGES after that, but he turned out very well!

Hmmm ... each time Roboduck goes to a feed store without me I end up with a new incubator. Now I'm really starting to wonder how many eggs he truly has coming.

Just forward all of the chicken and goose eggs to me, and all of the duck and turkey eggs to abmaddox and chickenrunner.

Problem solved! LOL!

Everybody hold that thought; I have to go to the store real quick, and there's already several pages for me to catch up on, lol!

Who's pictures are they using?
That's where abmaddox got her buckeyes.
The pictures in that listing are pictures that can be found here at BYC ... he one of the adults was posted by Chipper from Washington County, NY ... the chicks was posted by tandersphoenix from Missouri.
