you could check with shellyga, I pretty sure she has Buffs and is up there in Mid/north Ga. Bargain is up that way too, but IDk if she has Buff orps.Hello all from here in warm central Georgia, I'm looking for a trio of Buff Orpingtons around the ages of 12 to 16 weeks or so...Anybody have any to sale (not from a hatchery) either American standard or 100% english or know of someone I can get in touch with ?? Thanks,Tommy
New egg here, in middle GA.
Cindy, prayers and hugs to you regarding your mother's passing. I'm still hoping to see some of ya in Newnan show if at all possible. I have to decide in the next few weeks if i'm going to show. If I'm unable to spend night down there, showing will be out of the question for this year. Hope you are all enjoying the mild weather. As farmers we've been needing the rain but glad to see a tiny bit of sunshine!!! Got babies in the inc. coming out today/tomorrow....Praying those two little cream legbars make it on out!!! Still working to overcome that huge loss of our flock during the summer's horrific heat spell.... Y'all have a great day. Trying to stay awake for about another hour for a farm visitor. but two nights with 4 hours of sleep each.....I need tooth pics! I better go sit outside under the porch!Hey Everyone!!! and Happy New Year. I've been gone for a while...my mother took a turn with her Alzheimer's and she passed here at our house on December 24th. I know she is in her heavenly eternal body and is very happy to be with Our Lord and all those she loves.
TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE NEW TO THE GEORGIA THREAD.
I'm planning on going to the Newnan show for sure as I maybe bringing home a new silkie or two from Bobbi Portico. I'm excited. I lost my Catdance 4 1/2 month Buff. She was found dead in the coop by the ladder. No signs of any attack. Very sad. On the brighter side I am very pleased with the way my flock is shaping up. Out of the Catdance batch I have a really nice Silver Partridge cockerel, a nice blue cockerel, a drop dead gorgeous black pullet and two nice porcelain pullets. They are almost the size of my first chickens I got free that are now 8 months old.
I may go to the show this month but I have lots of catching up to do with my mom's passing.
Be talking to you all later on. ~ Cindy
