Just saw where the guy selling chickens in Villa Rica, Ga is going to be on a Nationally televised show with his chickens on HGTV this Saturday, Sept 14 at 9:00am. Will be interesting to watch it. I have heard all sorts of things about this place.

Prices of the nipples can vary widely. Do se looking on eBay. Paid 1$ each for mine. Took two weeks from china
 
5 are BCM x RIR second gen eggs and 1 is a game hen X bcm/RIR cross breed. AKA a bunch of mutts lol!! I want to learn how to do this right and proper before getting hatching eggs of a purebred bird

I thought of that to. I just set mine up and ran it for a the weekend to make sure the turner really did turn etc. I have been offered some various eggs, they are mystery eggs actually from a local gal. I am torn though because what to do with mixed chicks and at this time of year and if the quality is not all that then is it really a proper test of the incubator? Some may not hatch anyway and I would not know if I had done something wrong. So here I sit with a brand new Genesis 1588 w/auto egg turner and no eggs cooking. Um I guess you could say I totally get your nervous nelly feeling.
