YO GEORGIANS! :)

HA! I finally found places that sell Pilgrim Geese hatching eggs. I have contacted both about availability and hope to get eggs from each. Depending on how many they will sell me and then how many survive hatching, I will have extras to sell or trade. We'll just have to see where that goes in a few weeks.

My Light Brahmas should be here late next week. I have 15 coming but only need three. Extras will be sold or traded.

I now have requests out for a dozen eastern wild turkeys, a dozen khaki ducks, a dozen rouen ducks when the eggs are available.

GAMarans is working on getting some nannahana.....nangasacka......nannygoat.... ah hell... Those other turkeys.

My Cayugas should be hatching in just over a week from now. We still have 13 that are doing well so there will be extras.

And I will probably have Pekins coming out of my ears before long.

We ended up with some mixed Pekins.... possibly mixed with Black Runner. These will likely be getting rehomed in some manner.

As soon as I know what extras I have, I will post them and work on trades or sales.

Now, all that said, give me your educated opinions on how many water fowl y'all think will work on a 6 acre tract with a 1.25 acre pond. I don't want to overdo the bird thing. I want to make sure they can all have their personal space and not overwhelm the lake with all the poop and whatnot. Too many birds can mess up a lake intended for fishing.

Abmaddox needs some serious Prozac or Pot. LMBO I am so sorry your day sucked so bad and understand if it was me I would be hunting for some kind of mind altering drugs because I am sure I'd been thinking the same abt the dang animals. My chickens are behaving, but they are indoor babies at this point. I have a giant old house with a large room we dont use downstairs. The 2 big girls are in there. My sick hen is in my livingroom in a tote. Not really sick, is "down in the hocks" and I need to put her down bec its no way for her to live. (Cant do it just yet) My silkies are in a small area of my dining room in a dog crate and a gated off area for a run. They go in the crate at night and I cover them all up. I use newspaper shredded as their bedding to decrease the dust. I put down newspapers on their run which I change 2-3 times a day. I have 3 dogs and 6 cats too. The dogs get walked ugghhh cant wait to walk the 100# lab on ice! I bring in the old cat from outside and keep her in the laundry room bec she doesn't like anyone else! One kitty lives upstairs and 4 live in the main living area. The kitten loves to tease our silkie rooster lmbo.
I AM PRAYING FOR ALL OF YOU MY FRIENDS! I pray that none of us lose power in this scarey storm. Stay safe and keep in touch if you can. :hugs

DANG!  I forgot to mention this weekend's show in Newnan.  I MIGHT be able to work out a trip down there.  Anyone got a link to the show so I can check times and get an address?    Or what the show is called so I can look it up?  I've never been to a poultry show and would like to see it.

Look up Newnan, Ga poultry show.

That requires him to actually do something for himself. Ain't gonna happen. lol
