Well, I got them at the Newnan show, at which point they were 1-2 weeks. I'll have to look back at when that was though.how old are yours? 6 of mine are 9 weeks and the other 2 are 8 weeks old.
They've all been sleeping either piled up in the corner, or on the walk board up TO the roosts and nest boxes. I have found evidence of some of them sleeping in the nest boxes, so last night after dark I physically put them up on the roost.
Tonight after dark, I went out and 5 of the 14 were on the roost and all the rest were either on the walk up boards or packed in a nest. Even the australorps and leghorns. So tonight they ALL got put up on the roosts. I don't want to have to block off the nests, but if that happens again the next few nights I will.
