YO GEORGIANS! :)

how old are yours? 6 of mine are 9 weeks and the other 2 are 8 weeks old.

They've all been sleeping either piled up in the corner, or on the walk board up TO the roosts and nest boxes. I have found evidence of some of them sleeping in the nest boxes, so last night after dark I physically put them up on the roost.

Tonight after dark, I went out and 5 of the 14 were on the roost and all the rest were either on the walk up boards or packed in a nest. Even the australorps and leghorns. So tonight they ALL got put up on the roosts. I don't want to have to block off the nests, but if that happens again the next few nights I will.
Well, I got them at the Newnan show, at which point they were 1-2 weeks. I'll have to look back at when that was though.

Robo or Gam- I've got a set ready for lockdown tomorrow and was wondering about the lockdown questions I posted earlier for yall. Peeping and a few rockers already so might just do it this evening instead of tomorrow. Also- anyone with experience putting a broody with her chicks back in the flock? She's been in the brood apt for 5 weeks, her chicks are 2 weeks old.

Papa Chaz whatever chick is in your third pic- with the fleshy comb- I'm calling cockerel.

I'll go out with the camera today and try to get some better pics. The iphone doesn't zoom that well when you're trying to take a picture of chickens playing keep away. Not the best idea to try to take pictures of chickens right AFTER you take them treats.

Hahahah! Neighbors did that! We haven't moved that fast in years!
don't you just hate nosy neighbors............

we had a pool at our last house we owned, and our back yard was 'very' secluded. no neighbors within 1/4 mile on either side, couldn't be seen for the trees on the back......good times!
