I am wanting to get a few more chickens. Would any one have pure silky chicks? Will gladly take adults too, though !

I looked at cream legbars but they cost $45 a piece for day old chicks! I don't think so!

@carcar80 have you gotten any blue eggs yet! I guess now I know why that blue AM was fussing when I went to the coop this morning, she was waiting for me to leave so she could take care of business

I sold my day old roo to ikkin....I had him listed at 25.

Beautiful eggs! Especially the blue. Congratulations to your hens.
I only have one hen laying a med. brown egg, right now. I do have 2 Easter Eggers, one of which should be laying in a month or so. I am really thinking about either buying chicks or hatching Ameraucauna eggs, next Spring, 2016.

yeah I'm going to hatch some out. Carcar is going to do some incubating for me, we'll decide when we're gonna set the first batch so we have chicks to sell next spring. Flower and I have been discussing her doing something for me this fall to get me a couple of marans, and my AM roo and marans hens should give me some OE's, so that would be pretty cool!


But yeah I love the blue eggs! I've been waiting for this since february!
 
Alright! Let me know what you decide, please. Right Now, I have 3 different age groups of pullets and one Pita Pinta rooster. Hopefully by next Spring, 2016, I will know where I want to go, and I would much rather buy locally! Wishing you continued luck with your egg gathering
