@carcar80 have you gotten any blue eggs yet! I guess now I know why that blue AM was fussing when I went to the coop this morning, she was waiting for me to leave so she could take care of business

So.... I have a broody hen that won't break... SO anyone have Ducks hatching eggs??? Any breed that is light colored or lays well I'll take.

Also would think about bantam chicken hatching eggs if the breeds are small and pretty. Pm me!!! The sooner the better, she's already been broody for two weeks.

Wow, that is a steal! But, I wanted Silver Laced and they are far from me.

Well of the chicks I picked up at the spring McDonough Tractor Supply swap and store 3 ended up being Roosters. Two handsome and a Polish that may not win any awards for appearance, but he has shown great flock care skills so far. He is great with the ladies, not too rough or bossy. He is very protective of the girls and has gone after one of the other roos when he was getting too rough and his advances were protested by the young lady. He made his point and good with the interloper but did not keep going after the point was well made and a couple feathers disrupted. Here he is striking a pose while I moved him to the tractor for where he and a few others will stay a bit before I let them begin to free range.

The Cochin Roo's name is Hewasashe, Cochins are Asiatic. Now some might wonder just how I came up with a name like that. You see I thought I had purchased all female chicks, I was incorrect. So that said lets take a look at the name in slow motion: He was a she or at least so I thought for a good while y'all know how that rolls.
