YO GEORGIANS! :)

@katiedarling Love that room just looks so comfy and inviting.

That's exactly what I'm going for! I've been blowing up pinterest collecting ideas. And photographed proof that it's ok to paint knotty pine to convince the DH. I like the log cabin look in here, but we ain't living in a cabin. I now know that when a real estate listing uses the word "rustic" it's code for all wood, all the same color, everywhere you look. It's pretty but I'm hella bored with it. The charm has worn off.

That would look great! I love hardwood floors myself. My folks have them.

I've always liked them, too. And when I found this place, I wanted it just because of the floors. Every one of my friends that walk into this house are all jealous. They're super cool looking. And they're heavily worn but I like them that way. It kinda looks like an old warehouse.

Hi katiedarling,
I always thought I wanted a log cabin, all the trimmings, of course, all wood. We have a friend who built one. Not a piece of sheetrock in one room! She loved it for a couple of years and then got tired of the "sameness" throughout. I love mix and match, no matter what styles are mixed and matched. Hope you get your way!!

It was the one with the band on it's leg (think the only one with a band) It happens. And everyone else is doing great, eating up a storm.

I just today put the little ones I got from Flower a month ago into the divided section. They are loving it! And that section isn't a mud pit like the rest of the pen, since it is divided off.

Now I'm just thinking sunny, dry, breezy, happy thoughts, waiting for things to dry out here.
interesting, I thought I kept all the ones with bands on their legs, that was the whole purpose of me PUTTING the bands on their legs.....LOL that must have been one of the ones my broody hatched out. strange it would live over a week and then just go like that. I am sorry

Working on teaching the girls to roost at night in their new house. First night, had to place them. Last night 3 for 4, had to move one from a nesting box. Tonight, 4 for 4 on the roost ready for bed!
