YO GEORGIANS! :)

Googled it.

'Nuff said. But thanks for taking the focus off of me, GAM!

Well that explains why it is so awesome.

I had another nice visit with Becky (flowerbh) and her husband Randy is hysterical!
When we first pulled up he seemed very concerned that we were sick with this evil virus that so many of Becky's friends seem to be afflicted with.
Yes, Chickenitis.

Tried to talk me into taking home WAY more than I was ready for.

Ended up with Dillon the Swedish Flower (the reason for the trip) along with 3 six week old babies and 4 tinys.
Luckily the tinys fit right in with the sex link group of Easter Eggers, and the six weeks will meet my others the same age soon.

Introducing Dillon will be the fun part. :)

Here is one of the black Ameraucanas I got from PapaChaz last month (or the month before, they are all running together)
It is my daughter's special pet. This crazy thing will climb her pants leg to sit on her shoulder.

EDIT: Introductions went great. The other roos walked up to him, he stretched his head to show he was bigger, and they both went on their way.
So glad that they can co-exist

Very nice! love that pic of your daughter with one of my babies on her shoulder! When mine were all small, I could go out and sit down in the coop or run and within minutes would have a couple of them in my lap. I'm glad they seem to have picked each other to be friends!

Gam how are the boys or did they get culled
Slowly but surely they disappeared ... never found feathers. A neighbor reported seeing 2 of them further down the road so they may have voluntarily relocated. They seemed happy while they were with us and none were eaten. Well, not by us, anyway.

Lost my Black Australorp hen today. Came home from town to find her dead and an egg stuck in her butt! Egg bound. You never know when and what will happen to your chickens! I had just told one of the renters this morning that they can die without any warnings.

Sorry to hear of your loss.
