Eastman, GA (1 hour south/east of Macon, GA) here. New to the raising chickens and pekin ducks. Have come to love my feathered friends.

Husband going to retire in 4 years and wanting to move north of here, Got to get out of Dodge, hehe. It's too hot and humid down here, I hate it. Do ya'll get any snow? Want to move somewhere where they get to see all 4 seasons. I was thinking of going to NC, SC. Hubby was wanting to stay in GA.

Welcome to the new comers! I am in the North GA mountains! Love it here! We are looking up at Amicalola Falls. We see mountains and lots of fall colors. It snows here often, but only 'sticks' maybe twice a year. I love my chickens and Runner ducks!

Ugh! If these newbies don't start laying soon (they are 6-7 months old), I'm gonna start squeezing them to see if I can't get something to drop out!!!! hahhahahahha!

@Flowerbh - are these the chicks we got from McMurray back in March? All of mine have been laying for over a month - hopefully its not those.
