I can't believe this thread isn't buzzing after the storms! I've been reading about other BYCers and wondered about Georgians. Everybody else doing okay? NW Ga people? I heard they got hit hard. I huddled in the basement for two hours but we were spared any touch-downs. Just really scary. Today is gorgeous and cool, like nothing even happened. Very strange....

We're in Temple. I think we split the main storms. They hit on either side of us. High winds and rain, but we've seen worse lately

I border Spaulding county and the convenience store that was leveled is a short 4 miles from my house. I spent the night up and watching.. even braving the wind, rain and lightening once to reposition a tarp that was to shelter my youngest outdoor chicks. I looked at them this morning and other than being wet - everyone seemed happy to have the weather calm down.

After the last storm that caused the rabbit hutch turnovers, we repositioned them and they weathered fine this time.. don't think I wasn't looking out that way too with my trusty high beam flashlight.

I am thankful that we had no damage and spent time in prayer for those not as fortunate. The loss of life in the path of this storm system is tragic. We consider ourselves very blessed not to have been "hit"

Shelly
