Thumper.. not too far from you.. what chicken breeds do you have.

I am currently in search of the following:
Silver Laced Wyndotte - I need a rooster and would like to add 2-3 hens

Speckled Sussex hens

Blue Laced Red Wynodtte hens

Prefer young hens or POL pullets but will consider older chicks that have been sexed so I know I am getting hens. ..

I live south of Griffin but would drive within reasonable distance.. if you have any of those breeds to offer.. message me..with availability and price... I am a school teacher so my schedule is fairly flexible until the end of July.

Anyone have a phone number or an email address for Pine Grove. I send them a PM on this site but after reading a few post they don't get on here very often. I am looking to get so SQ heritage Rhode island reds from him.
 
Geez...How are y'all dealing with this heat? I'm exhausted trying to keep the chicks alive. Tomorrow will be the same. What do you do to prevent heat exhaustion or heat stroke?
 
here it is 107 in the shade...Ive been throwing frozen bottles in the waterers, offering lots of water melon and other fruit and ive put a kiddy pool in the big girls pen so they can get their feet wet. i also run a fan in the shady part of the run where they all hang out. so far everyone seems to be doing ok..however i'm up for anything else i can do to make things better for them
 
Thank you Pam I got my boxer after we had to put our rottie down. His name is Jazzy and hes like having a two year old in our house lol. We love him he is 51/2 years old.
