But I'm not a fan of powdered milk at all, but Love the thicker yogurt like in stores. I was wondering if adding a little bit of flour to the milk while heating would work as a thickening agent? or would it mess up the whole fermentation of the yogurt culture? I was also wondering if a bit of flour wouldn't work, would a bit of powdered sugar? But I'd hate to add sugar cuz I LOVE a smoothie with just yogurt & fruit without sugar. I was just wondering due to how White Sauce thickens with a little flour, (I make variations of that frequently), but thought that the thickness would make Great Yogurt, if at all possible.?

If you make the yogurt with 1/2 milk and 1/2 cream it comes out thicker. Or 1/4 milk and 3/4 cream. Not the healthiest thing in the world, but it sure is good.
