You Know You're a Northerner When...

you sound like me Alaskan but, I have the heat set to 65F and I am always freezing, during the day. I wear fleece lined jeans, fleece lined flannel shirt, fleece neck gaiter and knit cap. Ooops forgot the snow boots with boot socks. Honestly I'm THAT cold in the house. Of course I am much older than you and oldies have trouble regulating their internal thermostat or something like that.

When I am outside in the cold- really cold with proper winter stuff on, I am quite comfortable. Just am miserable in the house. :idunno

Yeah, I was that way too, but now I have to wear dresses and formals and stuff a lot and there's just something about trying to pull on panti-hose (who invented THOSE darn things, anyway) over pokeys that makes my skin crawl~

BLOOIE, MY FRIEND. YOU'RE BACK. I THOUGHT YOU'D FALLEN OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH. HOW YOU DOING, ANYWAYS????????????

No problem if you wear no PJs!

That's fine if you happen to live down south! Here, it's a matter of survival. I often wear a winter hat to bed.

.. you don't take a shower if you are not going anywhere and it is only 10F outside.
why waste the water/heat, you will freeze the second you get out of the shower
:lau

Ok, that is MY excuse anyway
so true... and me too!

There is a German saying that says "dirt makes warm". I need that extra layer! :lau
