one year we decided to BBQ for my birthday in March... had to get out of the house by using the window, the kids had to shovel down through the snow to find the BBQ... and yeah, then we had to squat/ bend over to BBQ.

When you save up $$ so you can CRANK the heat all Winter and not worry about the cost
I have a trade off (I have Gas heat/HW/cooking) I don't cook much and if I am not leaving the house I will skip a shower here and there... just so I can crank up the heat !

I keep mine up to jacket temperatures.

@BantyChooks I used to keep it on the cooler side but as I get older I want to be comfortable. plus it helps with the arthritis in my hands

Never! I am defiant! Though Wisconsin isn't that far north, not as far as the UP, Canada, and Alaska and stuff. When you look out your window, and look at all snow that those poor southerners, bless their hearts are missing. I am a younger person so I like playing out in the snow. Looks like we will get a white Christmas.

Oh, and my DD said yesterday ( in the 20 degree temps) that she Loves Massachusetts and will never move out of it
We lived in TX for 2 years... that was a mistake
