Williams used to be a lumber processing center. There are a lot of nice older homes there, but you have to have an income coming in from somewhere else. Prescott is the same. Durn spotted owl and the forest fires really did in the lumber industry.

The wages here dont match the costs.(if you can find a job)Newcomers are people who sold theyre house in CA. and have several hundred grand to buy a house with.It just adds to the problem.
