Frozen marigolds always make me sad.

Time to think about next year's garden, I guess. This one is done.
Overall, a good year. Some things to remember and learn from (my tomato garden needs calcium!!!!), some happy things (I love late season chard, and it did very well), and some things I want to plant more of (cucamelons!).

Someone asked me for a follow up with how well the row covers did.
The lettuce melted. Maybe the cover wasn't tight enough.
But the peas are hanging on.
