We also have a long, hot, humid summer, with lots of mosquitoes. I hate .

What kind of plastic is that? How thick? I've been looking for something like that for various garden uses.

It's a biodegradable that comes in 4' wide x 600' rolls.
It comes in smaller rolls now I see.

I don't plant tender stuff until Memorial Day. Lettuce, peas, other greens can be planted soon.

I planted my taters an hour ago, and now the rain is falling. Perfect timing, I guess.

My replanting of carrots is coming up! These are Danver's Half Long.

They were sown on 3/22, that's about right for carrots.

We have sweet corn up and growing. Lots more to plant as this is early corn for mostly fresh eating.

We may have carrots up by today but it still may be a day or two more. I've got to pickup some more tires for the little green rolling seat we use to thin row of vegetables with. All for went bad over the winter and will not take a bit of air. There is now way to bend and do that any more. Our beets need thinning now.
