Our carrots are just beginning to come up. I was pleasantly surprised to find Blue Lake Beans coming up too.

I love rose of sharon! You know they are edible?Today's project, a flower garden!
I had two Rose of Sharon trees here for 15 years:

Done for the day!
I will add some peat before planting annuals around the bed and a clematis in the back.
Also, I attached a cattle panel trellis to the porch railing. The shadows make it look warped but it's flat.
No, but they died. I think they just got old.I love rose of sharon! You know they are edible?
Ooh! My peas are tall but no blooms yet.We are putting up new fencing around the garden! Really excited about this!
We may see a patchy frost tonight. Tomatoes and tender annuals will spend the weekend in the greenhouse. I think I may have 100 small pots in there now. The peppers and more annuals are still inside under lights. The weather will improve next week. Getting ready to get real busy here.
I'm starting to see some pea blooms.

First year of trying a trellis.
Nice looking garden you've got there.
Repurposing!Thank you!
Your trellis looks nice! Isn't it wonderful to see some green again!
My pea trellis used to be a back stop for my grandson's baseball practice. When GS got older DH was going to take it down. I decided to build a bed around it. Makes a nice spot for peas or cucumbers.
