Your 2024 Garden

And it's been DRY. Every day storms roll through but we only get sprinkles. Last night rain was predicted, but the storms dissipated. I went outside before bed and poured water on the soil around the squash plants.

:rolleyes:
These storms are missing us too. Only getting drizzles. There is a tiny storm in the county to my west. It has parked and dumped almost 2 in of rain. I wish it would pass on through and share with us.

I had to water today, all the gardens.

The wax beans are producing!!

Those are Lemon squash. They taste like crookneck, but look like lemons. Seeds were from last year, Baker Creek.

My shed was delivered this afternoon!

This weekend I'll get some concrete blocks for a step, a hasp and a lock for the door. I have about three gallons of stain on hand. Since there's no rain forecast I might try to sand some of the paint mark off the door, then slap a first coat of stain on it...maybe this Friday. I know the wood is so dry it's going to soak right in.

The shed is plumb, and level. Bobby and his helper did a good job!

:love :yesss::ya

Depending on how the weather turns out I want to plant 3 more rows of okra today. Near the end of a row of Lima beans I ran out of seed. I finally filled it in with some Roma II bush beans for canning. Just a I got the seed dropped it started raining. I forgot about them. I actually got a good stand even though they never got covered up. I saw them last night just before dark. Need to get a picture today of them before I work some soil to them.
