I had ONE dog who would have fit into an "other" catagory.
She would ignore them 99% of the time. The other 1% was if I was trying to "herd" them someplace she jumped in to assist. Never once did she ever try to harm them.
The best event was moving a dozen ducks and 2 geese from their pen into the barn in 12" of snow that fell while I was at work. Every time one stopped moving and sat down she gave them a butt lift using her nose to lift and push them forward. In fact that was her very first direct interaction with any of the birds. We had to go a full acre from where they were to where I wanted them. The ex hated my birds. He turned her out in hopes she would decimate the flock. She did quite the opposite and earned a big chunk of steak for helping in deep snow.
She was an American Staffordshire terrier. Best dog I have ever had.
My current dogs watch them like they are a walking cheeseburger with a side of fries. Never shall they mingle......never.
